2021 NYS Pepsi Scholarship Dates Released

Brewster, NY November 1, 2020 – We are entering the third month of the new season, and the NYS Youth Committee is hard at work planning the tournaments for the kids. The first schedule released was for 2021 NYS Pepsi Scholarship Tournament.
This event, sponsored nationally by Pepsi Cola and the USBC, is open to any certified youth bowler who 18 years old or younger prior to August 1, 2020. In league qualifying begins on December 4th with two different qualifying windows throughout the month. Bowlers are separated into 10 different division based on age and gender. One of every three bowlers will advance to the regional finals. Scholarship will be awarded to the top two bowlers in the U8 & U10 for both boys and girls in the regional finals.
For the other 6 divisions the top two bowlers will advance to the state finals at King Pins Lanes in Rome on April 24, 2021. At the state finals 36 bowlers will be awarded scholarships, included a coveted $2000 for 1st place. In 2019 youth bowlers were awarded $40.500 in scholarships in just one day.

U8 Boys & Girls – Bowlers whose birthdate is 8/1/2012 or later
U10 Boys & Girls – Bowlers whose birthdate is 8/1/2010 thru 7/31/12
U12 Boys & Girls – Bowlers whose birthdate is 8/1/2008 thru 7/31/10
U15 Boys & Girls – Bowlers whose birthdate is 8/1/2005 thru 7/31/08
U18 Boys & Girls – Bowlers whose birthdate is 8/1/2002 thru 7/31/05
