Grant Opportunities
The NYS USBC awards more than $15,000 annually to young bowlers for their achievements in the classroom and on the lanes. Scholastic awards are given to graduating seniors and underclassmen. Additionally, The NYS USBC, through its Youth Education Services committee and working with the International Bowling Campus, has signed on to award annual High School Assistance and In-School Bowling grants to worthy high schools and educational facilities in New York State. High School Assistance grants ($2,500) are awarded to help start a new high school bowling program or to help supplement a program that lost funding because of school budget cuts. In-School Bowling grants ($1,200) purchase equipment in the form of six carpet bowling lanes with balls and pins along with teaching curriculum.
