Hashizumi Shines in Day Two of the Open Seniors Championships

Yorkville, NY - Day two of the 43rd Annual NYS Open Senior Championships had a small but mighty crowd at Vista Bowling Center. Leading the pack was last year’s day one-star Glen Hashizumi of Binghamton.
Hashizumi rolled 243, 268 and 236 for a 747 series in the doubles. His partner Randy Snyder of Apalachin shot 194, 225 and 268 for a 687 series. Their combined score with handicap was 1508 which puts them in first place in Division Class C. In singles Hasizumi rolled 659, giving him a six-game total of 1426 for first place in the Combine Class C. Snyder shot a 638 for a six-game total with handicap of 1453 for first place in Combine Class D.
David Gonzalski of Cicero shot 215, 278 and 226 for a 719 series in the doubles in squad one. He shot 651 in the singles, and is currently in first place in Combine Class E.

The tournament which runs over two weekends, consists of 3 events – doubles, singles and six-game combine. The champions in the six-game combine event will paid entry to the 2022 USBC Senior Championships.
There are more squads on Sunday October 24 at 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM at AMF Vista Bowling Center in Yorkville. Please note all squads on Saturday, October 23 and the 12:00 Squad on Sunday, October 24 are all sold out.
Walk-ons are accepted in each squad if space permits, each event is $30 per bowler with and optional 6-game combine for $10. You can bowl doubles only, singles only or both doubles and singles.
