New York Has 21 New Champions

Yorkville, NY – Bowlers from all over New York State converged on Vista Lanes for the 43rd Annual Open Senior Championships last month. The 20-lane center, located in the Central New York town of Yorkville was the site for the premier event for bowlers 50 years or older in New York.
Participants in this event can bowl doubles and/or singles and is broken down in to seven age categories. Each event consists of 3 games, winners determined by total pin fall plus handicap. There is also a combine event which combines the bowlers score from both events for additional prize fund.
There were 88 Doubles Teams, 162 Singles and 140 Combine Entries. In addition to the prize money for the combine, the winners in each division will receive a paid entry into the USBC Senior Championships next summer.
