Team from New York Chosen as Grand Marshals
Karen Brouwere, Melissa M. Potoeski, Kathleen Leipold and Cheryl Rice served as Grand Marshals for the Squad at the USBC Women's Championships

Reno, NV May 25, 2021 - Four women from New York State where chosen by the USBC to serve as Grand Marshals for their squad at Women's Championships in Reno, NV this past week.
The long time bowlers were on their trip to trip to bowl the nationals and were bestowed the honor by the squad coordinator. Kathleen Leipold pf Painted Post said, "It's an honor for our team to represent New York State.
Joining Leipold were her teammates. Karen Brouwere also from Painted Post, Melissa M. Potoeski from Woodhul, and Cheryl Rice from Bath. This time honored tradition is unique to the Women's Championship and honor the bowlers who make the trek to bowl national from year to year.
"We very excited when we heard the news," Angelo Corradino, NYSUSBC Association Manager said. "It's a proud moment for New York to have one of our team lead the bowlers to the lanes. These four women are perfect people to represent the bowlers of our great state."
