Youth Tournaments
2021-2022
The New York State Youth Committee hosts two State Championships and two Scholarship Tournaments throughout the year for the kids in New York State.
Youth Team Championships - Bowlers must qualify in their respected Regional Championship to earn a trip to Syracuse for the State Finals on April 30 at Strike & Spare Lanes in Syracuse.
Adult/Junior - This doubles event is held at Strike and Spare Lanes in Syracuse April 29 - May 1, 2022 and is open all certified bowlers in New York. Teams consist of one youth and one adult bowler.
Pepsi Scholarship - USBC's longest running Scholarship Tournament begins with in-league qualifying for all certified youth. From their league, bowlers will advance to their regional finals and compete for a spot in the State Championship on April 23 at King Pins Lanes in Rome.
NYSBPA Scholarship - This event is run by the New York State Bowling Proprietors Association and is similar to the Pepsi Tournament, with two key differences. Bowlers must pay to qualify in-league to advance to the regional and state finals. This event is handicapped while Pepsi is a scratch tournament. The state finals are May 21 at King Pin's Alley Family Fun Center in South Glens Falls.
