Twelve players earn titles at 2024 USBC Senior Championships in Cincinnati

New York State had nine bowlers compete in the USBC Senior Championships at Western Bowl Strike & Spare in Cincinnati, OH last Week. Karin Kehlenbeck of Huguenot finished 3rd in the Women's 50-55 Division and Donna Ryan of Smithtown finished 5th in the Women's 60-64 Division. This is an invitational tournament, New York State USBC send the bowlers who win their division in the Women's Senior Singles Tournament and the Combine Division in the Senior Open Championship.

Brandon Boyer Captures 2024 New York State Masters Title

Brandon Boyer of Hudson Fall outlasted the field at Broadway Lanes in Fort Edward to capture the title in the 34th New York State Masters Championship. 118 bowlers competed in this annual event which attracts the best bowlers in the state.

Pathway Committee to Donate $28,000 to Various Charities on Behalf of NYSUSBC

Through various fundraiser this year, the Pathway Committee from the New York State USBC raised close to $28,000 which will be donated to 4 Organizations. $10,000 each to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, $5,000 to our Youth Scholarship Program and $3,000 to Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL).

Ventura is a Masters Champion for Third Time

Sam Ventura captured the NYS Senior Master Title at Lucky Strike Lanes in Malone. He knocked off Jeff Ripic in the finals 410-403 in a two-game match. This is his First Senior Masters Title, he also won the first two NYS Masters Titles in 1989 & 1990.
